[UPDATE: BECAUSE OF THE CORONA VIRUS, ALL SESSIONS ARE CURRENTLY ONLINE]
Are your thoughts and feelings overwhelming you? Is a particular problem or circumstance affecting your daily activities? If so, counseling could be a way to help you make sense of it all, and find balance in yourself, your relationship(s), and your family life.
I am a Mental Health Counselor providing individual, couples, and family therapy. I specialize in working with:
- People transitioning into parenthood who face issues related to pregnancy, birth or postpartum adjustment;
- Couples who feel disconnected but want to make things work;
- Parents who feel overwhelmed by parenthood or who are seeking parenting support.
- Other common stressors during early and middle adulthood, such as: depressive and anxious thoughts, stress, communication problems, sleep or concentration issues, and loss.
Talking to someone who will listen with compassion and without judgment can bring you one step closer to a balanced state of mind. As a counselor, my goal is to help you view yourself and your situation in a new light, and to discover what is possible for you (and your family). I do not have the answers; rather, I am a guide who gives you useful tools while gently encouraging you on a path towards healing and self-discovery.
You can read more about the counseling process and my background on this website. Feel free to call (06-45180342) or email (info @ balanceyou.net) with any questions or concerns, or if you would like to make an appointment. I offer potential clients a free 15-minute phone consultation so you can ask questions and decide if you’d like to make an appointment. I look forward to hearing from you.
